Fall is upon us, even though we do not get the changing of the leaves or the snow after. With that being said, here are some updates as far as fertilization and weed control this time of year. The Nitrogen ban has been lifted the beginning of October. Nitrogen will be applied in a slow-release granular form. With the current wet weather pattern, the slow-release will help the fertilizer work in a more controlled manner. Don’t Worry – The Green Will Come!
As far as weed control, once temperatures cool down (below 85), we can begin our full-broadcast weed control. We understand that weeds are more of a problem this time of year, and we will do our best to help keep them under control, weather permitting.
